The Avon River Kart Club Inc. is a new venue for dirt kart racing at Lot 103 Spencer’s Brook – York Road, Burgess, approximately 10Km to the north of the York town site.

The venue is being built in accordance to Australian Independent Dirt Kart Association (AIDKA) rules and regulations. The venue will be able to host State and National titles and the main attraction will be the ability to race under lights for twilight and night events. At present, the greater Perth area has no night venues and the 2 country locations are twice the distance from Perth.

Our aim is to construct a clay/loam based track that will be technical and challenging. Our goal is to create a venue that will encourage participation from all age groups and genders.  The vision will be to establish a first class and attractive venue with a family friendly atmosphere. Safety will be the first priority for all patrons. The aim is to provide patrons with a venue to participate in a relatively new and comparatively inexpensive motor sport.

The track has been laid and is currently 595 meters long with 3 degree camber on the two high speed corners.
